Artist is cool, just this sorta double standard stuff with Shota kinda makes me feel off
I dunno, it just doesn't sit right with me. Won't bash the artist or their art, because they're respectable in their talent, but stuff like this makes me feel slimy? I hope I'm not the only one.
I get what you mean, reminds me of an episode of South Park where they seemed to talk about said double standard. Specifically it was an episode where Ike, a little kid, ends up in a relationship with his teacher who has got to be 30 years older than him. Other kids like Kyle and Stan are disgusted by this but when they tell adults about the whole thing (mainly male adults) they react by just going "niiiiice…" like they literally see nothing wrong with the whole thing despite it clearly being pedophilia. Making the double standard more blatant, the police seemed more willing to do something about the pedophilia had the teacher in question been a man or at least an unattractive woman, but because the teacher was considered attractive they seemed to actually be content just letting the whole thing happen.
