Sonic the Hedgehog - The original page

Holy crap I still have this book, I got it when I was in kindergarten as part of one those schoolastic book order things. I did not even remember where the meme came from but I thought it was the archie comics from the early 90s.

I love how out-of-place the robot is stylistically. It's like they were about to send the page off to print and someone said, "You know, I think this is a bit TOO soul crushing for the young kids. Draw a sight gag in the foreground."
