The spells are shown to have their own internal and interpersonal conflicts, shunning a spell for being "dark magic" and another for being seemingly useless but coming to terms and accepting them in the end. They're even shown to form relationships, fall in love with each other and even have babies with each other. A spell, Narwhal Blast, has a wife who somehoe gives birth to a baby Narwhal blast. The ending implies they're all, dead. Murdered by Star.
