Speaking of imagination, one of the things that gets overlooked with Mr. Rogers is that he could explain things as not being real, but there was still magic in all the effort and love that goes into making something. A good example of this was when he had the OG wicked witch on and she (Margaret Hamilton was a treasure) explained what an actress does and even goes through what she thought the character was feeling.

The navy seal sniper myth has been thoroughly debunked. There aren't any large gaps of time in his life where he could have served in the the military. The navy seals didn't even exist until 1962 and at that point he was already well into his tv career. I know it's dumb to complain about memes but I just couldn't hold my tongue on this one.
