A young man who needs friends. It is not a young man without a girlfriend. That is normie s---. Normies get depressed about no gf. Normies get depressed about stupid s--- like that. The doomer is a young man starved from the love of humanity. We all felt it once, when we were younger and innocent. Just like there is a Tyler Durden in all, there is a doomer in all of us.

"Friend" and "Girlfriend" are not mutually exclusive terms. A healthy romantic relationship should have the bonds of friendship as part of it.

Thinking of the two things as distinct is part of a problem that I feel a lot of men have: they can't or have a hard time socially interacting with women they are not related to on non sexual terms. And when you cut yourself off from half the species as a default it's not conducive to socialization.
