I know how this looks. My client here, he may seem a bit.well, let's just say 'intense'. I mean look at that scowl. Just kidding. Now, the prosecutor would have you believe that this old man, who was a cancer survivor mind you, was capable of kidnapping dozens of people and hooking them up in elaborate death traps. I mean, c'mon, look at this guy, he can barely speak without his lungs going into a fit. Oh, and about the detective who got a little bruise on his throat? Yeah, last I checked we live in America, where we have the right to defend ourselves against criminals trespassing on our property. The detectives who invaded my poor client's property did not have a single warrant, charge, or even probable cause. How was my client suppose to know he was a cop and not some hooligan? Your honor, I'm calling for a mistrial. The prosecutor cannot lay a SINGLE charge against my client, who is so obviously innocent. I mean, good luck even finding a jury that's going to not only believe that a cancer patient hitting his sixties is capable of doing something like this, but also is going to motion to convict such a man.
