There's a difference between movies that end up so bad they become memes, and movies that are so bad, they are an insult to the very concept of existence.
Honestly while the film was awful, it's still a charming, beautiful piece of art because of how meta this movie was, especially during consistent repeat viewing, making the film funnier for both the right and wrong reasons. It's a shame that this movie, while being a cult classic, didn't leave the same exact status as The Room, Miami Connection, Fateful Findings, or the 2006 Wicker Man with Nic Cage. Having that said, I honestly think it towers along with these movies for being so over-the-top but yet amazing.
