Silent Hill: HD Collection (2012)

Still bugs me Konami managed to screw up that whole thing pretty bad by failing to keep a record on where they put the master source code for those games. Like yeah it really is all Konami's fault in this case because the team they hired to do the collection was given incomplete code with bugs the original devs already fixed long ago, but no way to get in touch with said devs to find out what they did to fix the issues.

At least in that case Nomura and co were still involved so it's like if any problems occurred I imagine it was handled like "oh this bug again, don't worry I remember how we fixed it years ago," as the HD version of KH1 is a well made remaster.

Konami didn't have any of the devs who worked on SH2 and 3 working for them anymore so they couldn't even loan these devs to the poor studio they hired.
