Even if you do manage to avoid it, though, there's eventually a cutscene with a quick- time event that forces you to kill a dog, to hear the animal's sharp, confused yelp as you smash her skull in with a metal pipe. That wouldn't be enough suffering, however. Naughty Dog has to make sure you feel horrible, so you're later treated to a flashback in which you play fetch with that same dog, scritching her behind her velvety little ears. (Spoilers Discussion) םו Hi, i am just curious and i want to see what you guys think about this but is not the last of us 2 very similar to terminator dark fate? i haven't play the game just yet, and i really enjoy the first one. But what do you guys think about this 2 aren't they similar?? They both start by killing their protagonist. John Connor and Joel. This is the starting point but what others things they have in common? like i said i haven't play it and this is just my opinion but i did not like the way how they implemented his or their death. If we sit to compare them what others things do those two have in common? the problem is naughty dog wanted the emotional scene and to give you the agency to not do it. most games realize you can't have both and prioritize agency, so if you do chose to do it you choice has weight. But since this game only cares about being "emotionally difficult" they force it so your decision has no weight and the emotional impact is lost.
