Some pals and I started watching the old Digimon Adventure and got to the scene where assumed bad guy, Gatomon, remembers Kari, sister to one of the main protagonists, Tai. It was then followed up by Tai telling Kari to watch out and Agumon, Tai's digmon, straight up shooting a fireball directly at her.

I know the scene was meant to show that Gatomon really is a good guy by pushing the girl out of the way, but the fact that Agumon aimed at the sister is absolutely wild. They didn't even have him go for Gatomon first, which could have prompted Kari to get in the way, and then have her pushed out of the way.

Now I have a headcanon where Agumon wanted Kari gone and to become Tai's new little sister.
