Isn't the idea of advanced AI the fact that it doesn't need those algorithms though? The ability to percieve and learn information similarly to the way a human mind would, but with pinpoint accuracy and a much faster rate, as well as lacking the inherent bias a human might have.
It's why sci-fi tends to have distinctions to basic AI that runs off of pre-set programming and routines that is used in minor machinery, to borderline sentient beings that either have personality or can simulate it near-perfectly.
With that then leading to the concepts of AI turning against people. Either through taking programming to an overwhelming degree based on cold logic and lack of morality, or being so advanced it attacks humanity out of self-preservation.
