America won World War 2 It was the Soviets as they took most of the losses and stopped the Nazi War machine It was the accumulated effort of the ally powers as they split the Nazi forces across so many fronts that they couldn't launch a major offensive on any front meaning their loss was inevitable no matter who got to Berlin first No single party can claim to have won the war as if it wasn't for American industry replacing that lost by USSR and UK, British espionage missions that destroyed Nazi super weapons and the Soviet military doctrine then the ally would have lost. There was also British naval blockade that prevented Germany getting the resources it needed, the US occupying the Japanese so they couldn't invade the USSR, failure of Axis powers to secure the oil supply in Africa and the military mistakes made by Italy and Germany like Stalingrad
