Now you might not be that familiar with the NRA but i can assure you they never protected anything. They throw everything they stand for out the window as soon as someone offers them enough money. They never actually protected 2a so why would they rise up over this? They'll still get their money all the same. There's a reason why so many 2a people hate them.
