Biblically Accurate Angels / Be Not Afraid - MEME REFUTED

This meme has gotten so much traction that it's gotten it's own page. So let me explain why it's wrong (in my opinion pls no bully) All these things appeared in a vision. It's debatable whether or not they were metaphorical, or if they could even be called angels since (as far as I know) they aren't referred to as such. All the times that angels have unambiguously appeared in the Bible, they've appeared as either plain men, or men with an aura of light. Maybe not glowing this much but you get the idea But angels say "fear not". That must mean they were horrific eyeball monsters Wrong. Imagine you are an ancient middle- eastern man and you see some dude floating in the sky radianting light. You'd be terrified. Also, to my knowledge at least two times in the Bible it mentions a single angel wiping out a large group of people, in one of these instances an army was wiped out. So they're still pretty terrifying.
