These people would probably be equally as confused if you were to tell them that there is an actually no small amount of people in Brazil who look much closer to being white than black, what with Portugal being a thing that existed on their history and whatnot.

'Cause they aren't black, they are arabs. Also, even if they were, tribalism is a thing, especially in Africa. People don't need to have different skin colors to hate each others.
