I have personally heard opinions ranging from "It's not a serious problem" to "It's a hoax designed to make Trump look bad in an election year" to "It's a left-wing plot to take away our freedom and destroy America." The militant anti-quarantine and anti-mask people are mostly moronic redhats that hang on every word Rush Limbaugh and Fox News says. Very few die-hard conservatives think the pandemic is a major threat that deserves to be treated as such.

They will just say that Trump is making it up to own the libs once he "recovers" or something. People will always find a way to spin the narrative on their favor, trust me.
