Why do so many of these nutcases think "communism" is a specter haunting America? Last I checked the Soviet Union had fallen, China had embraced capitalist economics, CPUSA was a joke, and the most popular pro-Socialist party in the U.S. was DSA (Democratic Socialists of America), which basically advocates for a nordic-style social democracy, not fucking Leninism.

These people are deluded. You can't rein in fascism once it's let loose, as it's an ideology that's incapable of cooperation or compromise.
