One of my favorite variations is the "reciprocity laws". Depending on location this even has legal background. One diplomatic incident of people arriving from "A" to "B" being harassed by "B" customs was solved by having "A" customs singling out "B" visitors until they cut that shit out.

Or old parents who sued their well-off son for alimony, fortunately he kept the receipts and proved they weren't "loving parents and good providers" so the judge told them to hippity hoppity get the fuck out of his property.
