There's just something unhealthy about it. It gives me one of those gut feelings that it's a bad idea, even if I can't completely explain why.

Doing something like this is even more disturbing than having a VR dating sim and calling it your girlfriend. It's almost like propping up a corpse and pretending they're still alive.
