Gubby is a dev killer from the Roblox survival horror Experience Forsaken that looks like a rabbit and is exclusively available to the game's developers. The character was added to the game after X / Twitter user @transgbunny posted a rendering of the character via a post suggesting that he be added as a dev killer. Gubby went viral in May 2025 as the subject of memes, including fan art and edits, some of which recreate famous images and memes that feature rabbits, replacing the rabbit with Gubby.

Origin

On February 5th, 2025, X^[10] user @Amonimyeahyeah posted a rendering of a Roblox bunny made by their friend, garnering over 19,000 likes in three months. This appears to be the first time the Gubby model was shown online.

On April 15th, 2025, X^[1] user @transgbunny posted a rendering of the same Roblox rabbit with a curvy smile, writing, "look who showed up to the rendering party," garnering over 820 likes in a month.

Later that day, the same X^[2] user posted another rendering of the rabbit in which it's holding a shotgun under the words "new dev killer idea," writing, "I have a vision," garnering over 11,000 likes in the same span of time.

Gubby became the subject of memes and fan content over the following weeks. On April 17th, 2025, X^[3] user @transgbunny shared a link to a Roblox Experience called "gubby world" consisting of a field full of Gubbys, garnering over 18,000 likes in a month.

On May 2nd, X^[4] user @RatTrapped posted a video animating Gubby over a clip of a rabbit running around someone's house, garnering over 10,000 likes in just under two weeks.

On May 6th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @wh0s_lux12 posted a meme compiling several Gubby clips and memes under the caption, "I love Gubby," garnering over 266,000 views in a week.

On May 7th, X^[6] user @BlegsBag posted a recreation of a meme showing a rabbit with a pancake on its head, replacing the rabbit with Gubby, garnering over 16,000 likes in a week.

On May 10th, 2025, X^[7] user @SnowBuddyLol posted an animation of Gubby attempting to grab a grape in the middle of a stick, garnering over 49,000 likes in three days.

On May 11th, X^[8] user @Forsaken_News made a post sharing several videos from the official Forsaken Discord claiming that Gubby was coming to the game as a dev killer, garnering over 2,500 likes in three days.

On May 13th, 2025, X^[9] user @FlxPhlx posted a sketch of Gubby made in Microsoft Paint that garnered over 3,200 likes in under a day.
