The closest thing to anything SJW-like is that I remember is that they made semi-big deal about Emerald's VA being trans, despite the fact she was barely in the show. But that's hardly damning, or a deal-breaker.

I think any impression of SU being for SJWs might just come from the worst of the fanbase trying to make it out like it is, and people who just take a cursory look at the show.
