-Shitting over Japanese artists and manga authors, demanding their work gets banned

Pick one. You can't have both.

The opinion that drawings are harmful and sexist comes entirely from the West (the US especially), and these kinds of people want to impose their moral values on Asians, and they all too often do it by being incredibly toxic towards the one that offends them.

So yes, these things do in fact have relation to each other.
