B August 23 at 4:37 PM. ... As you know, I don't normally share posts like this..BUT the government requiring me to put something in my body AGAINST my will just pisses me off to no end. And for God's sake, don't come at me with the argument that "I'm selfish" because I refuse to protect others". This vaccine doesn't fully prevent you from getting Covid or spreading it and I know many people fully vaccinated that have gotten the virus. I have worked my f------ ass off, under seriously stressing conditions, during the height of this pandemic when little was known about the virus. I have exposed myself, time and time again, to people infected with this and a plethora of other viral, bacterial and blood-borne infections when the average person won't touch these situations with a 10 foot pole, even fully vaccinated. I've been spit on, physically abused, s--- on, p----- on, puked on, bled on, verbally assaulted..but you know what? I wouldn't change my f------ job for anything. BUT, if you FORCE me to put something in my body that has only been around in the last year, a year that I have been hailed a "hero" for doing what I do/did and in the next breath l'm now being called a selfish a-hole for not wanting to protect others..well, you can all go f--- yourselves. Come do my job. A choice is a choice..if you choose to get vaccinated, more power to you, I respect your decision and you are still my friend. But please keep in mind it doesn't put you on a higher moral pedestal than I. If you think I am being self centered and selfish, unfriend me now.
