I really pushed myself to do a frontal view. This is also more of what I was going for with this image [link].

I opted for cel instead of my usual because I would have gone crazy trying to figure out more accurate shadows. The frustration I had while doing this is why no one should draw Mayhem from the front. But hey Sarah, what about that one image that was the cover of It's Murder? I'm pretty sure that guy didn't actually draw it so much as he divine raptured it, ok, this s--- was hard. never again!
