Nah, WWII still would have happened with or without Nazi Germany. There were already plenty of destabilizing factors at play, including the Soviet Union, Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy, growing nationalism in British and French colonies, the Great Depression, the Versailles treaty, etc.

Hitler only drew the battle lines in Europe. He didn't cause the root instability that led to the most devastating war in human history.
