Removing quests with storyline cutscenes for Patch 9.1 to make zero sense

Playing through the expansion in order, finished my covenant campaign, ready to start 9.1 content with the auto-added quest "The First Move." I start the quest and get fed the cutscene where Anduin attacks the Archon in Bastion. My response: "Wait. What? That can't be right. He hasn't been turned yet. What have I missed?" It turns out, quite a lot. After thirty minutes on Wowhead and piecing things together, it appears that when 9.1 dropped Blizz made an undocumented change and simply deleted the following quests from the game and marked them complete for everyone. 1. Explore Torghast 2. Remnants of Hope 3. Information for a Price 4. Torment Chamber: Jaina 5. Finding a Witness 6. Lest the Trail Go Cold 7. Torment Chamber: Thrall 8. Signs of the Lion 9. The Captive King 10. An Echo in the Darkness 11. The Highlord's Vision 12. A Mourneblade Born 13. The Jailer's Grasp I don't even know what to say in response to this. The whole purpose for me being in the Shadowlands in the first place is to rescue the faction leaders. Their kidnapping is what started this whole thing. Apart from the covenant storylines, the story of their rescue IS THE WHOLE STORY. And Blizz simply deleted it? In an undocumented change? EDIT: Opened a ticket. After several rounds of back and forth, finally got confirmation that these quests seem to have been intentionally removed in 9.1 in an undocumented change. Makes zero sense to me.

In the latest 9.1.5 PTR build, several negative emotes have been removed while others have been modified to be less intrusive when targeting players. In addition, several emotes have been added, mostly emphasizing positivity, such as magnificent and impressed. Other tweaks to legacy content on the Patch 9.1.5 PTR include modifying suggestive paintings, renaming the Love Rocket, and removing references to inappropriate former employees. Pip Quickwit The gnomish explorer and quest giver Finkle Einhorn has been renamed Pip Quickwit. Originally found trapped inside the stomach of The Beast in Upper Blackrock Spire, the character's previous name was an amalgam of the characters Ray Finkle and Lois Einhorn from the film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, which Slant Magazine once called The Most Offensive Football Movie Ever Made. Over the course of the movie, the two characters are revealed to be one in the same, in a turn of events which has been widely criticized for transphobic shaming, as Ray/Lois is not only portrayed as sociopathically deviant, but the titular character Ace is also repeatedly shown to be visibly ill after learning their identity. While Odyn considered the traitorous king unworthy of the Halls of Valor, the quest leads him to be convinced to bind Ymiron's soul, forcing him to serve for the rest of eternity. Later found resurrected inside the Skyhold, repeatedly clicking on Ymiron causes him to become increasingly disgruntled with the player and his fate - the final line being a censored profanity laced tirade, which is now removed in Patch 9.1.5.
