I was pretty lucky too.

When I made a tweet to look for a VA I first got 2 different people that tried to scam me, they wanted 200$ upfront without giving me any voice sample to see if they were capable of doing what I needed, plus some other suspicious things.

Because I had no experience with VAs it took me a while to see the red flags.

Before paying anything I went to a Voice acting Discord server to complain, and there I met Jessie and she offered to do the voice lines I needed.

I got in contact with a pretty VA and avoided getting scammed. So yeah. I'm lucky
