According to the article, which is based on a report conducted by Russia's RSPP Commission for Communications and IT, Russia currently has enough spare parts to keep the system running for six-months.

This doesn't sound too bad, until we take in the facts that most of these parts are made in the West, prices for the parts they currently have in the country have risen by 40% and with the falling price of the Ruble leading them to get even higher as time goes on.

What also isn't helping is the current brain drain either, leaving Russia in a situation where even if parts were available, there might not be anyone around who knows how to fix the issue in the first place.

I personally don't think the war will last until the end of the year, but if it does last beyond May, it might be worth the Russian users downloading anything they want to keep now before things start getting a bit dodgy.
