And from what I heard, the United States Army never lost a single battle against the Taliban, they still lost the war because they started running out of money and had to leave because it wasn't worth it keeping that land anymore.

There was also the issue of rampant corruption within the Afghan government, ensuring most of the military only existed on paper.
