What makes this great is that Age of Empires II came out in 1999. Windows XP came out in 2001. Meaning Ensemble Studios was using one of the most popular photos of all time before it was cool.
H-------- was this one a pain ever since wikis went from PNGs to WEBPs but I did it Next one is 2008 Part 2 but that will be another long break inbetween since these take such a long time to do
This one morphed from being about memes and more about internet history as a whole. I really didn't wanna litter the ground with just Advice Animals so I put as much I could here I kinda abused the grape vineyard in the middle, mainly due to how many memes n images tended to only show the bottom half of the person. Leeroy is kinda just standing there. A few of these reference YTMND, Sabrina is there simply for the fact she was there at the time, same with Ian and Anthony. My biggest stretch was DEUUUEAUGH which I debated on adding back n forth. There is a lot of empty space simply because I didn't wanna repeat too much from the previous one

It was a simpler time back then the internet was still young and unpredictable you could find a sort of random stuff on youtube yes you can do this today too but nowadays there's a sort of "uniformity" in that which you din't have back then and most importantly memes actually had longevity
