No.49353977 ► >>49354029 >>49354395 >>49354522 >>49356671 >>49357825 File: 1584416582597.jpg (568 KB, 1080x1288) I worked as a security guard working the 12-8am shift. I was paired with another guy, we worked every shift together from October til June. Just me and him, with nothing to fill the time other than watching cameras and the odd walk around the premises. So every god damn shift, this guy would talk about motorcycles for the full 8 hours. Different makes, models, paint-jobs, aftermarket parts, mechanical things, etc. His whole f------ life was motorcycles. He had all kinds of tales and anecdotes from his rides, run-ins with the police, on and on and on. Springtime rolls around and he's still taking the bus to work. I'm like, where's your bike? "Oh it's in the shop". Next week, "still waiting for XYZ part". Excuse after excuse for weeks. Turns out, this guy never owned a f------ motorcycle. He rode his friends brothers motorcycle ONCE the year prior and had supposedly planned on buying his own. I had politely listened to this guy b------- about motorcycles for LITERALLY HUNDREDS OF HOURS at this point, and it was all lies. When I found out, I went berserk. I refused to work another shift with him. My boss wouldn't accommodate that, so I quit. The whole situation f----- me up. I am basically anti-social now, especially at work. Every job since I've been the "weird loner guy" who won't engage in chit-chat or participate in social events. It's been years since this happened and it still pisses me off thinking about it.
