How did they ended it?, the president just wrote a memo to the court that now you had to use the correct term (slavery) and to start prosecuting those cases as part of the war effort. Now why this is not taught in American schools? because is way too horrible. Hey kids turns out we had slavery until 1942, and we only stopped it because it made us look bad in the WW 2 propaganda machine is an awful look.
