[Breaking news] "Dragon Quest" new insider trading case Arrested famous game creator, arrested 3 people Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office Special Investigation Department social affairs department Friday, November 18, 2022 10:51 am The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office has arrested Yuji Naka (57), a game creator, today in connection with an insider trading case involving development information for a new version of the popular game "Dragon Quest." According to the special investigation unit, the suspect was an employee of the major game company "Square Enix" (Square Enix) around late January 2020, when Square Enix and the online game production company "Aiming" were jointly developing. In addition, he learned important information about the new game "Dragon Quest Tact" for smartphones. The suspect allegedly bought about 10,000 shares of "Aiming" for about 2.8 million yen before the information was announced. The suspect was arrested for insider trading under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. SQUARE ENIX The suspect allegedly engaged in insider trading when he was an employee of Square Enix.
