According to the special investigation unit, the suspect was an employee of the major game company "Square Enix" (Square Enix) around late January 2020, when Square Enix and the online game production company "Aiming" were jointly developing. In addition, he learned important information about the new game "Dragon Quest Tact" for smartphones. The suspect allegedly bought about 10,000 shares of "Aiming" for about 2.8 million yen before the information was announced. The suspect was arrested for insider trading under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act. SQUARE ENIX The suspect allegedly engaged in insider trading when he was an employee of Square Enix.
