2 reasons I can think of for the down votes.

1: they are sergals. the most notable quirk of these creatures is that the females have tongues very near their vaginas. this is awkward and disturbing to most.

2: one would normally associate these creatures with furries. while I suspect most bronies don't hate furries, they are aware of the negative stigma normally attached to them and wish not to be associated with them.

both are understandable sentiments.
