Author gets scammed with AI art

I do use Photoshop on the final image for a few color shifting filters and a sharpening mask then also questioned this saying that it looked like it was Al generated to me, and asked if they could provide the process from sketch to final, because authors would be the ones held accountable they use this cover commercially This designer deleted my comment and blocked me from the group. If that isn't proof of their guilt then...yeah So authors buyers, beware and pay attention to what you are buying Do not be afraid to ask questions Ask for their cover process. This cover designer (Rainbow Danger Designs) shared a few covers stating they were original illustrations in their cover group. They are even on their website, having been sold at $500. It states that 'It includes the ebook, print wrap and the commercial rights to use the illustration in your book's merch.. You can not copyright Al generated work. I like this use. You want certain elements on a character, but don't know how to arrange them. A generator gives you a base and you go off of that, making modifications.

This is exactly why I like AI art as an artist. I love seeing some cool concepts for character designs pop out, and it's fun to try bringing those to life.
