If the student did it in the proper format, regardless of what's on the soyjack side, the Chad side would say "Yes" and the defense would be "Yes" or some other non argument.

Using it to "argue" things destroys the punchline, unless the "argument" is also something that can be succinctly responded to with "Yes", "I don't want to", "It's fun", or some other simplistic answer.
