These Western entertainment get mad when minorities get censored out of products in countries like China, yet these very same people were so happy to see Sony’s Playstation division censor Japanese games(Even the Japanese versions of said games) to fit “Global Standards”. (A.K.A the standards California wants to hold the ENTIRE globe to.)

I just don’t get why censorship has so many supporters.

What is it about the concept of censorship that gave it such a cult of personality?

Oh, that is an easy one. They hate anime (including anime-like games) and like cartoons because only one of those panders to their "modern western sensibilities", so they celebrate censorship for the former and decry the latter.

There is nothing else to it, it really is that simple.

Because they lack the foresight to fundamentally oppose the concept of censorship in principle. They feed the monster when it eats their opponents, then get shocked when it turns to them.
