The image isn't even blaming trans folk. It's more Twitter slacktivists and it doesn't matter if they're trans or not. Most of us didn't want shit like people harassing streamers, some people just said they weren't entirely comfortable with buying a game that Rowling might get royalties from (though if I may be a cynic, yeah like not buying this game will suddenly change her multi-millionaire status…), but the slacktivists decided to spread this toxic message of "anyone who buys this is a transphobe" without taking into account Rowling didn't contribute anything to the game outside of it being based on a fictional universe she created. The people who actually made the game, if anything, made it far more "woke" than Rowling's retcons ever did given there's far more ethnic diversity among the main cast than you saw in the seven HP books and movies, and shit the game includes a trans character to boot.

Now you are right that unfortunately in the comments of Pika's announcement video while 99% of the comments are people either thanking Pika for years of entertainment or sad about the announcement the other 1% are actual bigots using this as a way to make comments like "the fucking troons will pay" or "this only proves the 41% deserve everything bad that happens to them." Granted these are people I'm sure hated my fucking guts anyway, but doesn't change the fact idiots claiming they're trying to "protect" people like myself helped give them more ammo.
