I don't agree with the tweet and I definitely don't think people should hold trans people as a whole responsible for the terminally online at twitter. But stuff like that tweet absolutely not why pikamee is still getting hate.

You know why she's still getting hate? Because the type of people who harass someone for playing a game will never be happy and always opportunistic. You guys remember zamii070? People celebrated after they learned she actually tried to commit suicide. There is no end goal for these types. They'll keep going until they can't exploit the situation anymore then move on.

Hating Bill Cosby because he's a rapist makes you normal. Hating him because he's black makes you an asshole. Analogous situation here. (Except who the hell knows how many of her harassers were transgender, which makes this more like hating Bill Cosby because you think he's probably black but you don't know for certain.)
