To put this into context, the Japanese Sonic Twitter does monthly alternative universe art for two characters, with one character selected by them and the other decided by a two-option poll. Last month had Silver chosen, with the poll being between Elise and Merlina. Elise won at 50.7%, so it was pretty close, though Silver has more of a connection to her than Merlina, so it makes more sense to draw them together.
