File: fly.jpg (41 KB, 550x535) Anonymous (ID: UjvtqL68 06/30/23(Fri)11:08:30 No.432751302 >>432751921 >>432752255 >>432752260 >>432752294 >>432752369 >>432756206 >>432756782 >>432760870 >>432762025 >>432751728 I am a very well known figure in a fandom. I had 7,000 followers on an art account, and my side account regularly got 1,000+ like tweets for my theories about the franchise. I was always quiet about politics. In February, I saw a Chinese artist who needed google translate to speak get bullied off the bird app for saying she didn't want to draw breast mutilation scars. I snapped and said it's her right not to draw it and you can never change your gender. I became publicly against mutilation. The reaction to this was insane, it blew the f--- up (like I had expected). Cancel tweets all over. In no time I was literally famous for being a "transphobe." Nearly 1,000 accounts have me blocked. Several wished death on me and some even suggested doxing. An account with 30,000 followers became obsessed with f------ with me. She even tried to get her followers to mass report me. Didn't work. A huge account was cancelled for interacting nicely with me. The tweets harassing her got over 20,000 likes and she deactivated. I joined three Discords. Two banned me. Another large one didn't, but they called the owner a transphobe for allowing me to be there and she had a mental breakdown, deleted the server and then started talking about killing herself. Still hasn't come back online. They've mostly gotten bored of me now. But it's made me realize just how much power I hold simply by standing my ground, never apologizing, never deactivating and being true to what I think. They've admitted my mere existence causes them to become unbearably angry, and that I'm spreading "harmful information" (linking to real studies). It was rough enduring this s---, but in turn I've formed my own community of people who gravitated towards me during it all because they saw the insanity of what was happening. I wish more people were bold enough to do what I had done and not back down from pressure. It's the only way to defeat this. Thanks for reading my personal blog.
