CAN'T MONETIZE Along with coming out with Wojak compasses almost every day, I run a number of other side hustles including a nonprofit; language tutoring; and essay writing for students LACK OF CREATIVITY When I was younger, I was hella imaginative and clever, but sometime The idea is that if I enjoy during COVID that all disappeared doing it, then I shouldn't I spend an average of 25-35 hours/week doing these things...and I've never monetized them. charge money for it, and I feel guilty for even having passing thoughts of monetization know jack s--- about the larger economy But I give up lots of sleep and social outings to do this work and I hate myself As meticulous as I am with digital filing, my room looks like a tornado went through it CAN'T NETWORK CAN'T INCORPORATE I was never When opportunity comes super charismatic among potential employers knocking, I freeze up and babble like a child Give off an impression of timidity and incompetence although I'm perfectly extroverted around peers of equal status Now that I'm an adult I've learned how vital networking is; and where it's gotten my peers. I was just always socially stunted around employers. PROWESS I keep a budget and I'm fiscally I try and learn, keeping responsible, but I up with the news and reading economic theory, but it just never clicks Thus, I always look stupid in front of older adults and I've gotten to the point where I shy away from economic conversation LACK OF ORGANIZATION My parents and peers have gone from joking ridicule to straight-up pity I feel like a child because I simply can't keep my s--- organized; I consistently find things I forgot I owned and lose things I know I have The lack of sleep doesn't help Whenever I try and start a new writing project or poem my mind is just a snowstorm It seems I'm always anxious for Creativity used to be one of my greatest virtues; now it's fading away KNOWLEDGE I did fine in school, but now I can't sit down for more than 15 minutes without getting distracted what's to come or regretful of what's behind me Especially in a classroom setting, I can't focus and learn effectively I definitely could've gotten a higher score on my law school entrance exams if I just CONCENTRATED I can't help but wonder what could've been and what path my life could've taken if I did such and such Likewise, I'm always worrying about what might happen if I make a decision about which I feel afraid LACK OF SLEEP DISCIPLINE I tell myself I'll go to bed early and get eight hours, but I always end up going to bed around 3 AM and waking up around 8:30 LACK OF ECONOMIC ANXIETY/REGRET CAN'T DECIDE CAN'T EMPATHIZE Whenever I see a friend or family member in distress, I don't know what to do, or how to comfort them This leads to reciprocation crises in which they're able to give me helpful advice and support, but I have no clue how to be human around them and help them through their problems Last night (more like this morning) it was 4:45-8:30 I do a lot of things and I don't want to drop STUBBORN any one of them, so l cut into my sleep to get everything done Once I make a decision and set myself on something (as rare as that is), I won't be swayed or dissuaded Or sing, or paint. CAN'T DANCE It's come to the point where I've made up a mountain of excuses for not coming to bar outings and I need to just come clean E.S Even if it's a decision that harms me, like diverting time from an academic venture to personal filing, I stubbornly remain committed until the alternative task is done Peers and family get frustrated with me and I get frustrated with their lack of understanding You don't realize how important dancing, singing, and art are until you can't do them When people ask where I see myself in five years, I reply that I don't know where I see myself in five months Whenever I'm faced It usually gets to with two choices, I consider the virtues of each and can't bring myself to reject one in favor of another the point where I ask peers, families, and strangers for advice and input it into Excel in hopes of reaching a logical conclusion I'm almost always unhappy with what I've decided SHORT-TERM THINKING I legitimately can't imagine myself at 30, much less at retirement Thus, everything I do is with immediate goals in mind, and I don't make plans for the future because I can't see myself existing in it STUCK IN THE PAST I'm not talking about my personal past - that's another square - but rather THE past I'm so obsessed with history that I can't help thinking all day every day "I wish I wasn't here, I wish I was there" This isn't a suicidal thing, it's more of a simple lack of executive function I try and recreate it and conduct the same daily behaviors as my ancestors, but it's not the same I hate modern society and wish I wasn't compelled to live in it EMOTIONAL GUARDING Because of past negative ramifications, im afraid to tell my peers and family about how I'm truly feeling, especially when it comes to mental health. Also, I value my masculinity and don't want to be perceived as weak, because of how much I was bullied in high school for showing my emotions. So I emotion-dump on you guys My #1 fear, more than escalators or dogs (we'll get to that on a later compass) is commitment It helps having an outlet where I can anonomously talk about my problems and get emotional support is uplifting I come off as crass ,and tactless although it's a result of incompetence rather than malice CAN'T COMMIT The idea that I will be *obligated* to do something, and have a *duty* to finish it makes my skin crawl Because of this, I've never held a job for more than a year and a half; and I've never held a relationship longer than three months When it comes to fight or flight in the face of commitment, I flee almost every time
