"People never makes mistakes" is a famous quote by Juan Domingo Perón, founder of the Justicialist Party, the party that lost the Argentine presidential elections of 2023 to La Libertad Avanza (which presidential candidate is Javier Milei). It's mostly referenced in the form of a scan of the first page of the book El pueblo no se equivoca nunca, dijo Perón a los dirigentes y delegados del Movimiento Peronista. Making a reference to this quote, Sandra Russo (a fervorous kirchnerist activist) published an editorial titled Los pueblos se equivocan (People do make mistakes), which expresses her anger over the results of the elections.

Tomás Rebord (a mediatic personality who is also Peronist and supported the losing candidate Sergio Massa) said in his post-ballotage Make Argentina Great Again stream that upon entering Twitter, he founds a El Canciller post about this very editorial. He usually dislikes El Canciller tweets because they often take quotes out of context, something that he experienced first hand. This kind of attitude causes him to call them "cocksuckers" on air. He was displeased to find out that the El Canciller tweet was completely accurate, and criticized Russo for what he perceives is an anti-Peronist attitude. Someone in El Canciller was watching him, and made this tweet in response, something that Tomás Rebord liked.
