DC Comics - Who was the genius?

I find the censorship of non-slur verbal profanities incredibly infantalizing, and doubly so insulting.

And we all know it's for the advertisers… and if it's for the advertisers it's usually automatically a bad decision.

They've been doing this a lot, even with words that aren't harmful at all.
I can't find it but a staff member uploaded a reddit screenshot with someone talking about poop and censored everything after p, so I assumed the post was talking about penis until I checked the source
