Now Helldiver's Community Manager clarified why they banned people asking for LGBT capes: It wasn't for politics, it was to protect the devs and from "waves of hatespeech which our staff was struggling with emotionally" and that they only ban "the bigots." Honestly, I don't know what to think. What exactly is the Helldivers community policy?
