At the end of Sonic Adventure 1, Tails says "All's well that ends well, right?" in the middle of a destroyed Station Square with a bunch of destroyed buildings and likely massive casualties. This only applies to the English release of Sonic Adventure, but even that was released about a year and a half before the SpongeBob episode in question aired.
