They cheaped out on this expo, the previous concerts use a giant glass screen and a projector to make hologram illusion. This year, they just put a giant led TV on a stage.

There's a few theories floating around blaming either Crunchyroll (they we're responsible for the insane ticket price gouging) or Coachella music festival. The latter being they may be using the hologram performance for a bunch of normies at Coachella instead of the actual fans for the Expo, we'll see tomorrow.
