The kind of person who would trust a wild animal over a man (i.e. a radical feminist) is not, in fact, a big fan of transgenders.

Again not excusing transphobia, but even well before this mess its always pissed me off how so many in the LGBTQ+ community, who talk about not assuming genders or treating people based on their biological sex, will still promote the idea that being born with a dick makes someone a potential predator and then get mad that people treat trans women as potential predators for being born with dicks.

Like it baffles me how much in that twitter thread (and others I've seen) these people cant grasp that even if you think pre-op trans women (and post-op trans men) are safer than cis men and should not be treated the same, there's still no way to tell the difference.

That said I admit I do see a lot of the TERFs who openly include trans women in the "man" category when they pick bear, but you'd think that'd make it easier for pro trans people to grasp the connection yet somehow they dont.
