To be fair they can be self-deprecating at times, within the baka loser circles of Pixiv at least.

When Pokรฉmon XY/HGSS brought in official updated art and a grown up slightly buff adult Red as the new canon, then current depictions of bishonen-ish, edgy Red were retroactively tagged as "Pixiv Red".

That said, surprised to see that becoming popular before everyone the tag gets standardized.
